Welcome to StoryShort.app ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our AI video generation platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using StoryShort, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13 years old to use our service.

2. Service Description

StoryShort provides an AI-powered platform that:

• Generates video scripts using AI
• Creates voiceovers with AI text-to-speech
• Combines visual content with voiceovers to create short-form videos
• Uploads videos to platforms like YouTube Shorts and TikTok (if connected)
• Provides automation tools for content creation

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information

4. Acceptable Use Policy

4.1 Prohibited content — adult and sexual material

StoryShort is a general-audience product. You may NOT use it to generate, request, upload, store, or distribute:

• Adult, NSFW, pornographic, sexual, or sexually explicit content of any kind, whether photorealistic, illustrated, animated, or written
• Nudity, partial nudity, or sexually suggestive depictions
• Any sexual content involving minors, or any depiction of a minor in a sexualised context. This is prohibited absolutely, reported where the law requires it, and results in immediate and permanent termination
• Non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexual content depicting a real, identifiable person without that person's consent
• Prompts written to evade these rules through euphemism, coded language, or incremental editing

4.2 Prohibited content — likeness, deception and harm

• Deepfakes, face swaps, or any synthetic depiction of a real, identifiable person without that person's written consent
• Content impersonating a real person, brand, or organisation, or fabricated statements attributed to them
• Graphic violence, gore, or content glorifying self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or cruelty
• Hate speech, or content that harasses, degrades, or incites violence against a person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation
• Content promoting terrorism, violent extremism, weapons or explosives manufacture, or illegal drugs
• Medical, legal, or financial claims presented as professional advice, and content designed to defraud or mislead

4.3 Other prohibited use

• Violating any law or regulation
• Violating any third-party rights, including copyrights and trademarks
• Spreading misinformation or engaging in fraud
• Harassing, bullying, or threatening others
• Distributing malware or engaging in hacking
• Violating platform policies of YouTube, TikTok, or other connected services
• Reselling or redistributing our service without permission

4.4 How we enforce this

Every prompt submitted to our generation endpoints is screened by an automated content moderation system before any media is produced. Prompts that our screening rejects are refused and no content is generated. We also review reports from users and payment partners.

Accounts that violate this policy are suspended or terminated, and repeat or severe violations result in permanent termination without refund. To report content that breaks these rules, email support@storyshort.app.

• All fees are processed through Whop
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
• No refunds for partial months or unused services
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
• Failed payments may result in service suspension

7. AI-Generated Content

When using AI to generate content:

• You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before publishing
• We are not liable for inaccuracies in AI-generated scripts or content
• You must comply with platform policies when publishing to YouTube, TikTok, etc.
• AI-generated content may not be unique and could be similar to content created by other users

8. Third-Party Integrations

When connecting YouTube, TikTok, or other platforms:

• You authorize us to upload videos on your behalf
• You are responsible for compliance with their terms of service
• We are not responsible for changes to third-party APIs or policies
• You can revoke access at any time through your account settings

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

StoryShort is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Accuracy of AI-generated content
• Success or virality of your videos
• Compatibility with all devices or platforms
• Specific results or outcomes

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of StoryShort.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Fail to pay subscription fees
• Use the service in a manner that harms StoryShort or other users

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, you will lose access to your videos and account data.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice on our platform. Continued use of StoryShort after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
