How does StoryShort turn a topic into a finished video?

You start from a topic or prompt. StoryShort drafts a script, generates a voiceover, builds visuals for each scene, and adds synced captions. You review the result in your dashboard, then export it or publish it to a connected channel.

Can I review and change things before the video is rendered?

Yes. The generated script and the scene list are shown in the editor before rendering starts, so you can adjust them there. Every finished video also plays back in your dashboard, and nothing leaves StoryShort until you export or publish it yourself.

Each generation spends credits from your balance, and the cost of the options you picked is shown before generation starts. A standard video is estimated at 40 credits. Premium voices, art styles, and AI video models cost more, so real usage depends on the workflow you choose.

What export quality do I get?

Free videos export at 720p and carry a StoryShort watermark. Paid plans export watermark-free 1080p files that you can download or publish.

What is the difference between the free and paid plans?

New accounts get 100 signup credits, enough for roughly 2 standard videos, and free exports are watermarked. Paid plans refill a larger credit allowance every month, remove the watermark, export at 1080p, and add priority rendering on the higher tiers.

Where can I publish or export a finished video?

You can download the file, publish it to a connected YouTube channel, or send it to your TikTok drafts and finish the post in the TikTok app. What is available depends on your plan and on the account you connect.

Who owns the videos, and what about other people's material?

Videos you generate from your own topics and prompts are yours to use. StoryShort does not grant rights to third-party footage, music, brands, or likenesses that you supply, so only use material you are allowed to publish and follow each platform's rules.

Will my videos get views or be monetized?

StoryShort does not guarantee views, revenue, or monetization approval. Platforms judge originality, rights, and channel eligibility on their own, so publish only what you are authorized to post and add real value of your own.
